The Citizen Potawatomi Nation is a federally recognized Tribe that represents over 37,000 enrolled members. The Potawatomi Reservation is located in present-day Oklahoma.
In 2016, the Citizen Potawatomi Nation completed the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment motivated by an increasing number of climate-related events, such as severe flooding in 2007 and 2015. The Vulnerability Assessment assessed a variety of systems including cultural resources, the economy, water, food, and Tribal services.
