The Menominee Indian Tribe is a federally recognized Tribe with over 8,500 enrolled members. The Menominee Indian Tribal headquarters is located on the Menominee Indian Reservation, about 45 miles northwest of present-day Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The Menominee Indian Tribe has been integrating Western science and local and Traditional Knowledges to support climate-informed forest restoration practices, as described in the U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit case study, “And the Trees Will Last Forever.”
